Recommendations before flying from BWI Airport
Getting to the airport in time
If your flight is international, it is recommended to arrive at BWI Marshall Airport at least 3:30 hours before an international flight or 2 hours if it is domestic. In turn, depending on the schedule and the situation of the moment (possible traffic congestion) take the precaution of leaving with enough time.
In case of using a transportation service to go to the airport, check the public and private transportation available to/from Baltimore Airport: Taxis apps and limos, Light Rail, Car Rental, Public Buses and Courtesy Shuttles. If you arrive at the airport by your own vehicle, check the parking facilities.

If you have reduced mobility or are a passenger with special needs (elderly, pregnant women, minors alone) or traveling with a pet, coordinate with the airline at least 48 hours before the flight. Once you have arrived, a greeter will meet you at the entrance of the airport/VIP terminal, Fast Track or Expedite you through check-in security, and escort you to the lounge, if applicable, and to your gate.
If you are in Transit at BWI, a representative will meet you at the aircraft or the air bridge carrying identifying signs. They will escort you to the lounge (if applicable) and on to your connecting flight.
